The founder of the baby products specialty store Giggle appeared on the Martha Stewart show to give some recommendations on the latest must have baby products. She recommends Baby Hugo Naturals, which is a vegan and gluten-free skin care line that includes products specially formulated for young skin.
The line features shampoos, lotions, powders, and other gentle essentials that are all made from natural ingredients and are cruelty-free. Another recommended product is the Philips AVENT Bottle set, which is an infant bottle starter set that includes interchangeable parts to fit a baby's growing needs. The BPA-free kit includes four natural feeding bottles, a bottle brush, a formula dispenser, a newborn silicone pacifier, and a trainer cup. Finally, the Bright Starts Ingenuity Swing is a portable swing that automatically recognizes a baby's weight and adjusts swing speed to maintain a consistent swinging motion.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada have announced voluntary recalls of the Monkeez & Friends wrist rattles and baby booties, imported by Midwest-CBK Inc of Union City, Tennessee.
The pom-poms attached to the wrist rattles and booties can detach and pose a choking hazard. No injuries have been reported, but the importer has received one report of a pom-pom detaching from the wrist rattle. The Monkeez and Friends line of products was sold at gift stores, drug stores and other retailers nationwide from 2009 – 2011. Consumers are urged to immediately take the recalled products away from children and return them to the store where they were purchased or to Midwest-CBK for a full refund. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
