Latest Baby Product Recalls

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada have announced voluntary recalls of the Monkeez & Friends wrist rattles and baby booties, imported by Midwest-CBK Inc of Union City, Tennessee.

The pom-poms attached to the wrist rattles and booties can detach and pose a choking hazard. No injuries have been reported, but the importer has received one report of a pom-pom detaching from the wrist rattle. The Monkeez and Friends line of products was sold at gift stores, drug stores and other retailers nationwide from 2009 – 2011. Consumers are urged to immediately take the recalled products away from children and return them to the store where they were purchased or to Midwest-CBK for a full refund. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
